How is it that a white man can murder a black man and only get 22 years? While in another case, you have a black man who wasn't aware that he couldn't vote due to being on parole, in which, he is facing 40 years in prison for illegally voting . My point is, how does murder get a lesser sentence? We already know the answer to that. Yet, we continue to hear that all are equal. Again, how is that so? When situations like this aren't right? Also, I think it's a messed up situation all around when it comes to the right to vote, this is the type of behavior that should be illegal, because voting shouldn't be a privilege, but a right for all. It's time to fix the bigger problems at hand. That means that it's time that we all take a positive stand against unjust consequence.
